Surprise Meringues - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Beat egg whites, salt, vanilla and cream of tartar until peaks are stiff.
    Add sugar gradually; beat until stiff.
    Fold in chocolate bits.
    Cover cookie sheet with paper bag and drop on by rounded teaspoonful.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool before removing.
