Sweet-Sour Cucumbers - cooking recipe

1/2 c. white vinegar
1/3 c. salad oil
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
3 medium cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 onion, sliced (optional)
Preparation

About 1 hour before serving or up to 2 days before, in large bowl combine all ingredients.
Cover and refrigerate at least 45 minutes to blend flavors, stirring occasionally.
Makes 4 cups.
