Calico Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. bacon, fried and cut in 1/2-inch pieces
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 (16 oz.) can baby lima beans, drained
1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans (in tomato sauce)
Preparation

Fry onion in bacon drippings. Drain. Brown sausage meat and drain. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Put in 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
