Homemade Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. sugar
4 c. water
3/4 c. dry instant coffee
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 qt. vodka (4 cups)

Preparation

Mix sugar and water in a large saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved.
Let cool.
Add coffee, vanilla and vodka to sugar mixture.
Pour into bottles.
Makes great gifts!
