Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can French green beans
    1 small jar pimentos
    2 or 3 small onions
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 can peas
    1 chopped bell pepper
    3 to 4 stalks celery
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Drain green beans, peas and pimentos and place in medium mixing bowl.
    Chop bell pepper, celery and onions and combine with vegetables.
    Combine sugar, vinegar, oil and salt in small saucepan; heat and pour over vegetables.
    Cover and let stand 24 hours to marinate.
    Drain and serve.
