Fresh Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 English or Armenian or 3 large regular cucumbers
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 medium green pepper
    1 onion
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Cut the unpeeled cucumbers into slices 1/16-inch thick. Combine vegetables in a large jar or bowl and sprinkle with salt and celery seed.
    Stir gently and let stand for about 1 hour.
