Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. granulated sugar
1 (30 oz.) can fruit cocktail, drained
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained
1/2 c. light brown sugar (not packed)
2 Tbsp. slivered toasted almonds
Preparation

In a medium mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; stir in the granulated sugar.
Fold in fruit cocktail and drained pineapple.
Stir until dry ingredients are moist.
Turn into a buttered 9-inch square baking dish.
Sprinkle with brown sugar, then almonds.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cut into squares and serve warm with whipped cream.
Serves 6 to 8.
