Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. strawberry jello
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, partially thawed
    2 small bananas, mashed
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Add remaining ingredients except sour cream.
    Divide mixture in half.
    Let 1/2 remain at room temperature.
    Chill other half in pan or other container until set.
    Spread sour cream over congealed mixture.
    Spoon the remaining mixture over sour cream.
    Congeal.
