Summer Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow or summer squash
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. saltine cracker crumbs (a little less than 1/2 stack)
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese, shredded
    milk (enough to make mixture juicy)
Preparation
    Boil squash until tender; drain, slice and set aside.
    In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs; add squash and remaining ingredients, reserving some cheese for the top.
    Place in a casserole dish and cover with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 6.
