Cheese Nippies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 drops Tabasco
3 tsp. salt
4 c. rice crisp cereal
5 c. grated cheese

Preparation

Melt shortening in shallow large pan.
Add seasonings; stir in cereal and grated cheese and mix.
Place in moderate oven at 350\u00b0, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes.
Eat as popcorn.
Yield:
5 1/2 cups.
