Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. stewing chicken, cut into pieces
    10 c. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. saffron
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. potatoes, diced
    1 1/2 c. carrots, sliced
    1 c. celery, diced
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 c. onion, diced
    1 pkg. bow tie noodles, uncooked
Preparation
    In a
    5-quart Dutch oven, cook chicken in boiling water with salt,
    saffron
    and
    pepper until done, about 45 minutes. Remove chicken;
    set
    aside.
    Skim off excess fat, if desired. Add vegetables;
    bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
    Stir in remaining ingredients;
    boil for 11 to 13 minutes, or until bow ties are tender.
