Italian Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    1 stick oleo or butter
    5 eggs, separated
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (or more)
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. Angel Flake coconut
Preparation
    Cream
    together
    sugar,
    egg
    yolks, oil and margarine. Sift in\tflour and baking soda.\tAdd buttermilk and vanilla to batter and
    mix well.
    Add coconut, nuts and raisins.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Grease and flour 3 (8-inch) layer pans or 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
