Ingredients

2 (10 oz.) cans tomato puree
1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. fresh white bread cubes
1 c. melted butter, poured over bread cubes
Preparation

For 10 minutes, boil the tomato puree, boiling water, brown sugar and salt.
Pour over the buttered bread cubes, in a buttered casserole.
Bake, covered, for 30 to 40 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven in the casserole.
Serves 6 to 8.
