Marshmallow Fudge Brownies And Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    18 marshmallows, halved
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture.
    Mix well.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake in 8 x 12-inch pan 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Take from oven and put marshmallows on top.
    Return to oven for 3 minutes. Spread until top is covered with marshmallows.
    Let cool.
    Frost with icing.
