Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    tomatoes, cut up and blended to make 2 gal. juice
    2/3 c. vinegar
    2 1/2 chopped, medium onions
    1 handful garlic cloves
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 to 5 Tbsp. canning salt
    15 to 20 chopped hot peppers
Preparation
    In a large pot, combine all ingredients.
    Cook down for 3 1/2 hours.
    Pour into clean jars; seal and hot water bath for 10 minutes.
