Chinese "Not Fried" Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. sesame oil
    4 drops hot sauce
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1/3 c. sliced green onion
    1 Tbsp. pine nuts, toasted
Preparation
    Coat medium saucepan with cooking spray.
    Place over medium heat until hot.
    Add onions and saute 2 minutes.
    Add chicken broth and next 4 ingredients, bring to a boil.
    Stir in rice and simmer 25 minutes.
    Remove from heat, stir in green onion and pine nuts.
