Meat Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small cabbage, shredded
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. bread crumbs
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in enough boiling water with 2 teaspoons salt; cover and cook for about 5 minutes or until tender-crisp and drain.
    Add butter, syrup, marjoram and pinch of salt.
    In another bowl, mix the beef, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, salt and pepper. Butter 2-quart casserole and layer the cabbage and meat, beginning with cabbage.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until meat is done.
