Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
5 tsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 pt. fresh strawberries
1 baked pie shell
1 small Cool Whip

Preparation

Mix sugar, water and cornstarch.
Cook until thick (not too thick).
Stir in Jell-O.
Put whole strawberries in cool pie shell.
Cover with Jell-O mixture.
Cool completely.
Top with Cool Whip and refrigerate.
