Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Melt
    margarine
    and
    pour over brown sugar.
    Cream the two. Add
    eggs
    one
    at
    a time and beat after each addition. Sift flour and baking powder together and add gradually to the creamed mixture.
    Beat
    well.
    Stir
    in
    nuts
    and
    chocolate chips.
    Turn into
    a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
