Beef And Broccoli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2-inch steak, cut in 2-inch cubes
    1 small minced garlic clove
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 to 4 Tbsp. sake, sherry or gin
    1 1/2 lb. bite size broccoli
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    In wok, stir-fry beef, garlic, sugar and salt in hot oil. Stir in sake and soy sauce.
    Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Remove meat and set aside.
    Add broccoli and 3/4 cup water.
    Cook 2 to 5 minutes, until crispy.
    Add meat.
