Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small onions, chopped
    3 or 4 small yellow summer squash
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 beaten egg
    20 Ritz crackers, crumbled
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Parboil squash until tender.
    Don't cook too long.
    Mix squash, onions, salt, pepper, cheese, egg and crackers; mix lightly with melted margarine.
    Sprinkle 5 or 6 crushed crackers on top.
    Bake 30 minutes or until browned on top and bubbly.
