Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop the cabbage and put in salt.
    Let stand 1 hour.
    Drain and add celery and pepper.
    Boil the vinegar, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed.
    While hot, pour over cabbage.
    Cool and store. Real good on barbecue sandwiches.
