Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. boiling water
    3 egg yolks
    1 1/2 c. milk
    6 tsp. cornstarch
    3/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add brown sugar.
    Brown in iron skillet. Gradually add water.
    Beat egg yolks.
    Add small amount of milk. Add the balance of milk and salt.
    Pour this slowly into the sugar mixture; cook until thick, stirring constantly until thick.
    Cool and pour into a baked pie shell.
