Peanut Butter Banana Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/3 c. softened butter or margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 small ripe banana, mashed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. walnut pieces
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter an 8 or 9-inch square pan.
    In small bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt.
    Set aside.
    In large bowl at medium speed, beat peanut butter and butter until well blended.
    Gradually beat in brown sugar and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each addition.
    Beat in banana and vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients; beat just until blended.
    Stir in nuts and chips.
    Spread in baking pan.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until cake pulls away from pan. Cool on wire rack; cut into squares.
    Cover with plastic wrap. Serve the next day.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Makes about 16 (2-inch) squares.
