any amount sour milk or fresh clabber

Heat sour milk to a temperature of about 98\u00b0 and let stand until it is uniformly warm throughout and the curd separates from the whey.
Drain the whey off; add melted butter or cream, salt and pepper and serve while fresh.
It may be flavored with pimentos, chopped olives or chopped nuts.
The curd and whey may be separated by pouring boiling water over the milk.
