Chinese Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. meat, sliced thin
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. onion slices
    1 c. water
    1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms (1 1/3 c. with juice)
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (No. 2) can bean sprouts
Preparation
    Brown and
    cook meat in shortening; add celery, onions, water and mushrooms with liquid.
    Mix soy sauce and cornstarch together, then gradually pour in cooked ingredients to thicken.
    Add drained bean sprouts.
