Quick Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    2 1/2 c. sweetened fruit of choice (peaches are delicious)
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in baking dish.
    Mix all other ingredients, except fruit, to make a smooth batter.
    Pour batter over butter.
    Do Not Stir.
    Add fruit and juice.
    Do Not Stir.
    Cook in 300\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until brown.
