Chocolate Pound Cake With Real Fudge Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. cake flour
    5 eggs
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Sift dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately about 1/3 at a time, beating constantly.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour batter into greased and floured tube pan and bake for 1 hour and 25 minutes at 300\u00b0.
