Carrot-Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. oil
4 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. grated carrots
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Cream Frosting (recipe follows)
Preparation

Mix sugar and oil until well blended. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients. Combine with creamed mixture and beat well. Stir in carrots and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes. When completely cooled, frost.
