Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/3 c. sifted flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Puritan oil
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
1/2 c. half and half cream
    1/2 c. 2% milk
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1 beaten egg
Preparation
Place the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients.
Mix the batter, but do not let it be too thick or too loose.
In a large pot, boil water. Turn the heat down to medium. Drop by tablespoon into the boiling water. Do not crowd the pot.
Cook the dumplings in the water until you can put a fork into them and they are not soggy (about 10 minutes). Cover for another 3 to 5 minutes, continuing to cook them on medium heat.
