Polish Cabbage Rolls("Gobabki") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. (about 1 large head) cabbage
    1 lb. hamburg
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. (8 oz.) tomatoes or tomato sauce
Preparation
    Parboil cabbage until leaves may be separated (about 30 minutes); cool enough to handle.
    Separate leaves and cut off thick membrane.
