Apple Butter - No Sugar - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. peeled, cored cooking apples
    1 c. unsweetened apple juice or apple cider
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. ground allspice
Preparation
    Put all ingredients into large saucepan and simmer, uncovered, about 15 minutes.
    Apples should be soft.
    Remove from heat and cool slightly.
    Put half in blender and blend until smooth.
    Blend the other half.
    Keeps well in refrigerator or freeze.
