Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    6 eggs
    3/4 lb. butter
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. flavor (lemon or vanilla)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift flour, salt and soda.
    Blend into mixture; add flavor.
    Bake in greased pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Do not open oven for 1 hour.
