Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 large cans tomatoes (7 c.)
    2 small cans tomato paste
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 lb. lasagna noodles
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
    2 lb. Ricotta cheese
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Sauce:
    Heat oil in large kettle.
    Add onions and garlic. Saute 5 minutes.
    Add ground beef.
    Saute until browned, breaking up meat.
    Stir in remaining tomatoes, paste and spices.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 3 hours, until thick.
    Remove bay leaves and skim off grease.
    Cool and skim again.
    Refrigerate until needed.
