Great Grandma'S Green Tomato Sweet Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large cucumbers
    5 green tomatoes (large)
    6 to 7 green peppers
    2 red sweet peppers
    3 large onions
    1 bunch celery
    1/2 c. canning salt
    water
    white vinegar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    5 Tbsp. flour
    5 c. or less sugar (to your sweet taste)
Preparation
    Grind vegetables coarsely together.
    Put in colander and drain.
    Put in a bowl and add canning salt.
    Let stand 1/2 hour. Drain again; put in kettle.
    Add 1/2 pint (8 ounces) of water and 1/2 pint white vinegar.
    Cook 8 minutes.
    Stir so it won't scorch. Drain again; put back in kettle.
    Add 1 pint white vinegar and 1 pint of water.
    Bring to boil, then add turmeric, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Stir well.
    Cook about 5 minutes and stir.
