German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 small red-skinned potatoes
    3 slices bacon
    3/4 c. beef or chicken broth
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Prick each potato 3 times.
    Arrange in a circle in microwave. Microwave on High 14 minutes.
    Remove and let stand 5 minutes. While potatoes are cooling, cook bacon on High for 4 1/2 minutes. In a bowl, mix vinegar, cornstarch, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.
    Stir in onion.
    Microwave 8 minutes.
    Cut potatoes in 1/2-inch pieces.
    Add to broth mixture along with pimentos.
    Toss to mix and coat.
    Crumble bacon over top.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 8 servings.
