Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve the yeast in warm water and set aside.
    Cut shortening into the dry ingredients.
    Stir in the buttermilk and the water-yeast mixture.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Refrigerate or make into biscuits.
    Let the biscuits rise slightly and bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
