English Muffin Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour (set aside 2 c. flour)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    cornmeal
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine 3 cups flour, sugar, salt, soda and yeast.
    Heat liquids until very warm.
    Add to dry ingredients. Beat well. Stir in reserved flour to make a stiff batter.
    Spoon into 2 greased and cornmeal sprinkled loaf pans. Sprinkle tops with cornmeal. Cover and let rise 45 minutes. Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven 25 minutes.
