Nancy'S Holy Guacamole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large ripe avocados
    juice of at least 1/2 large lime (I use more)
    1 green onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder or to taste
    1/4 c. picante sauce
Preparation
    Mash avocado in a bowl. (I have found that a pastry cutter does a great job.) Add remaining ingredients. Chill. Serve with chips or with fresh tomato slices.
