Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/3 c. flour
1 c. corn meal
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. chopped onion

Preparation

Combine all above ingredients and drop by heaping teaspoonfuls into hot deep oil until golden brown.
