Creamy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
1 can chicken broth
1 c. heavy or whipping cream
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
6 large all-purpose potatoes
Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
In medium bowl, combine onion, chicken broth, cream, bay leaf, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Wash potatoes, cut into 1/4-inch slices and arrange in overlapping pattern in baking dish.
Gently pour broth mixture over potatoes.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake 45 minutes.
Remove cover and baste potatoes with juices in pan. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes longer.
