Red Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. cake flour
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. red food coloring
Preparation
    Cream together the shortening and sugar. Add and beat until fluffy the eggs.
    Sift together the flour and cocoa.
    Add alternately with buttermilk.
    Dissolve the baking soda in the vinegar. Add to batter.
    Mix in the food coloring.
    Pour into greased and floured cake pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
