Layered Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head lettuce (tear in small pieces)
    3 celery stalks, sliced
    1/2 to 3/4 c. onions, sliced
    2 c. peas, drained
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1 tomato
Preparation
    In a large bowl, lay your lettuce, celery, onion and peas. Spread mayonnaise.
    Sprinkle peas with sugar and cheese.
    Cover airtight.
    Refrigerate several hours.
    Before serving, toss. Garnish with tomato and croutons.
