Southern Fried Okra - cooking recipe

fresh okra
egg
cornmeal (half white and half yellow)
Preparation

Wash and cut okra into 1/2-inch slices, cutting across as you cut through the cut pieces, into a large mixing bowl.
The cut okra will have a slimy feeling to it.
For about every 3 cups of cut okra you'll want to add 1 egg; stir well.
Okra should be well coated with egg.
