Linguine And White Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can minced clams per person plus 1 extra can
    1 bottle clam juice
    1/2 c. olive oil
    5 or 6 cloves garlic
    1 medium onion
    parsley
    oregano
    black pepper
    pinch of marjoram
    red pepper (optional)
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    grated cheese
    1 lb. linguine
Preparation
    Brown onion and garlic.
    Add bottled clam juice and juice from the canned clams.
    Bring to a boil.
    Lower heat and simmer.
    Add oregano, parsley, peppers, marjoram, lemon juice and grated cheese.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
    Throw clams in and simmer 15 minutes.
    Boil and cook linguine; top with sauce.
