Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large apples
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    juice of 1 orange (6 to 7 Tbsp. liquid)
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and 4 tablespoons sugar; set aside.
    In large bowl, mix 2 cups sugar and oil.
    Add eggs, vanilla and juice of orange.
    Mix together.
    Add flour and baking powder.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Put 1/2 of batter in greased tube pan (not Bundt pan) and add 1/2 of apple mixture. Cover with remaining batter and top with rest of apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
