Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. quick oats
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine oats and boiling water; cover and let stand for 20 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients to oats mixture; mix thoroughly with a spoon until well blended.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
