Fiesta Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions
    2 jalapeno peppers
    4 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lb. coarsely ground beef
    4 c. Mexican chili beans/chili hot beans
    2 cans condensed tomato soup
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
Melt fat in deep heavy pan; add chopped onions and diced jalapenos and cook over low heat until done, but not browned.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 10 minutes.
Drain liquid from beans into small bowl and save.
Add beans, soup, chili powder and salt to beef in pan.
    Stir well.
Cover pan and let chili cook slowly over low heat for about 30 minutes.
If chili gets too dry, add desired amount of bean liquid.
Can be made ahead of time and reheated.
It even tastes better the next day.
