Sweet Pickles Made Over - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    sour or dill pickles
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. celery seeds
Preparation
    Slice pickles 1/4-inch.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over pickles; leave overnight.
    Bring vinegar, water and sugar to a boil.
    Add celery seeds.
    Pour over pickles.
    Place in refrigerator 4 to 5 days before serving.
