Hurry Up Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 sq. baking chocolate
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 stick butter
    1 egg (unbeaten)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butter in a 1-quart saucepan over low heat. Stir to prevent sticking and to blend.
    Add sugar, flour, egg, salt and vanilla.
    Beat with spoon until well blended.
    Spread mixture in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Sprinkle nuts over top. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cut in squares while still warm.
